English Language Challenges - English 4

Hi! Today is the last blog. English has always been interesting for me since I was always exposed to it with songs, series, movies, interviews and many more but sadly my experience learning in the University has been weak (but not because the professor, because of me). I'm not a morning person and my class is in the morning, therefore I just assisted to two or three of it. The others subjects that I have takes all my time, so I can't get up early even if I want to. I like the idea of the blogs, it was nice, writing about topics that I like was fun, but some topics were so heavy and boring (Like the Job topic or the Changes in the Study Programme) I tink that this is a good option for students to learn English but some topics makes it boring. Coming back about English itself. I want to improve my pronunciation and vocabulaty, I repeat the same words very often  so it gets a little hard to express myself. Changes to my study programme - English 4

Hi! Today's topic is about changes in my study programme ... I have to say this is my least favorite topic for this blogs but here we go! I can't think too much about possible changes but I'm going to try. The actual curriculum it's been changed before, this is the "new curriculum" as far I know so I don't think they will change it soon. It's ok I think, some subjects are boring of course, every progam haves a boring subject (Like History of Design or Project Management ... or just Proyect) Other's subjects could be: Processes and prototypes, Computing Tools, etc. NOW, the faculty, in my opinion, is ugly Like, it's the "design and arquitecture faculty" and it's just an old house, an old yellow house, I don't get it. When I first get to know it and being there ... it was such a dissapointment, I would change the totality of the structue. About Technology it's ok, I don't know every technology object that is in the facul...

Time travel to the Future - English 4

 Hi! The topic of today's post it's very interesting, Time Travel! Time Travel is always a thing in movies or series but I don't know if it's actually possible, definitely not now, maybe in some year's but who knows. If it get's real in some point of the history I would like to Travel to the Future (who doesn't anyways) If I have to choose a country to visit, I have faith in Japan of being a futuristic country with the past of the years, so it's a good option. Maybe Egypt as well, mostly beacuse of the mysteries of this area (like the pyramids) Chile could be an option as well, why not, see the progress, the new stuff, if we could finally be a good country ... but I don't think so, it's a lot of work. If I'm going to Travel to the Future it has to be very far away, like 1000 years of difference at least to have a lot of years to look back at. If the things in the Future are better that the currently ones, I'm definitely leaving this years...

My future job - English 4

  Hi! In this post I would like to talk about my future job! I think that if you read my last post you can know it but I'm saying it again, it's Animation or Character Design. Since Chile isn't a good country for Design (in my opinion) I want to travel in the future, but just to move out from here, traveling all the time it's gets annoying. I think that a Country where the languaje is English it would be enough and a good option to start, like, United States or Australia. I'm not sure if I would like to work outdoors or indoors … maybe indoors for comfort? But now I don't mind that much. I don't know about the salary either, if I can live peacefully with the salary, I'm ok. I must think about this in some point but for now I don't know. Currently I'm studying Design! So, I'm working on my dream, I have hope that I could make it work. My reference are the series "Helluva Boss" or "Hazbin Hotel", I would LOVE to work...

My proffesion - English 4

 Hi! In this day I want to talk about the profession that I'm currently studing, Design! I chose to study Design because I think that is the only thing I'm good at, besides I enjoy it a lot (although this year I'm not feeling it, lol) Sadly my country doesn’t value enough this profession, that’s why I want to travel to another contry and live there.  I would like to work in animated series like Helluva Boss or Hazbin Hotel for example. Although character design it seems very interesting as well, something like League of Legedens skins theme. I feel like,design wakes up your mind, you’re always thinkin about new things to do and how to make everything better. Another thing I like about it, it's like, anything could be an inspiration to a new design, so, you have to expand your mind to new concepts to be a good designer. Personally, Graphic Design is the best type of design, there's no limit to create something. In another way, I find hella boring the Industri...

My favourite videogame - English 4

 Hi! Today I want to tell you about my favourite video game, it's very famous so I think you could have heard of it, it's called League of Legends. It's a free online video game, it consist in two teams with five players each one: "Top" - "Jungle" - "Mid" - "Adc" and "Support". The missions is to break the "Nexo" of the other team, it's sounds easy but there's more than that. It's about strategy, thinking about where's the enemy in  the map, what are they going to do next, what you can do to win, and so many other things. The game have so many caracters to each role so you always end up finding your correct champion to play. This caracters have something called "skins" witch is basically changing their clothes, this cost real money, that's how the Company (Riot Games) gain all the money they have. Each year there's a world wide championship with teams of all around the world. Riot ...

The best concert ever - English 4

I have attended a few concerts, but the Linkin Park one in May of the year 2017 was the best of them.  My father gave my sister and I two tickets as a gift. If you don't know who Linkin Park is you have been living under a rock, the band have been around since 1997, they made the soundtrack for the movies "Transfomer" and managed to stay relevant till this day. The fans were so loud! they were screaming, cheering and singing along. I really enjoyed it, they sounded so good live.  I felt hyped and happy. I never imagined that I could see them live... thanks dad! The concert stay in my mind because short after Chester, the vocalist, died of suicide in July in the same year ...  I feel shock even now, thinking that in that concert he was feeling that way meanwhile we were having the best moment of our lifes. The fact that I saw him and two months later he died ... it's to much.
